RESEARCH
My research interests fall in the use of semiconductor nanomaterials for optoelectronics and energy applications. I have an insatiable desire to be actively involved in the following research areas—
1. Plasmonics for Energy Conversion
2. Defect Engineering in Semiconductor Nanostructures
3. Fluorescent Nanomaterials
Accolades/Invited Talks/Seminar Presentation
- Delivered a talk on the topic "UV-visible and FTIR Spectroscopy (Instrumentation and applications)" on November 5, 2022, as a part of "Hands-on-training on Sophisticated instruments" (DST-STUTI) organized by Tezpur University in association with Punjab University.
- Included in Stanford's list of the top 2% of scientists in the applied physics section for the calendar years 2019, 2020, and 2021 on the basis of the citation database.
- Delivered a talk on the topic "Nanoscience and Nanomaterials: From concept to applications" on October 21, 2022, at Royal Global University, Guwahati.
- Delivered a lecture on the topic "BET Surface Area Analyzer" on September 7, 2022, for the one-week training program on "Sophisticated Instruments used in Scientific Research" as part of the DST-STUTI program organized by IASST in association with NIT Tripura.
- Talk at Assam Don Bosco University on the topic "Nanomaterials: From Fundamental to Applications" on September 24, 2022.
