Dr. Kamatchi Sankaranarayanan
My major research interest is on understanding the protein/peptide self-assembly and utilizing them for various applications. I work on the interdisciplinary aspects of biomedical applications of cold atmospheric pressure plasma radiation in connection to protein self-assembly to supramolecular structures with functional properties. Additionally, my group is engaged in protein-inorganic materials co-assembly, in appraising neurodegenerative diseases and we intend to create unique functional biomaterials from NE specific silk proteins.
